  News & Updates
On January 11, 2008, the Secretary issued two opinions concerning the requirements of the Taxpayer Teacher Protection Act of 2004 on the Iowa Student Loan Liquidity Corporation and American Education Services/PHEAA.

On April 17, 2007, the U.S. Supreme Court issued its opinion in the
Zuni Public School District case affirming the Secretary of Education's decision.

Web-based E-filing Comes To OHA!
Effective February 1, 2007, OHA launched its E-filing Pilot Project. Parties may file submissions using OHA's web-based electronic form. For information on how to submit an E-filing, go to OHA's E-filing Procedures

OHA has jurisdiction over salary overpayment cases involving U.S. Department of Education employees.

Overpayment decisions issued by OHA are now available online.
